Demissionary Minister Frank Rijkaart of Internal Affairs noted that while worrisome, it’s too soon to block the deal. A full investigation into the implications is now underway.

Solvinity’s vital infrastructure supports DigiD, MijnOverheid, and secure communication systems for the Ministry of Justice and Security. Its role is undeniably crucial.

Dutch House of Representatives members have already questioned the potential acquisition, asking about ways to intervene and block the proposed deal.

The Authority Consumer & Market (ACM) confirmed that Kyndryl Nederland B.V. and Solvinity Group B.V. officially sought takeover approval on November 18, 2025. The ACM is reviewing this request.

Kyndryl is a global IT infrastructure provider. Solvinity specializes in secure, managed cloud solutions. The integration of these entities is currently the main focus of the ongoing review.
