Current Threat

  • QuoIntelligence identified a recent campaign impersonating Bangladeshi banks to deliver Loda RAT – a Remote Access Tool sold in e-Crime underground forums. The campaign has operated between at least 27 August through 1 November. Multiple cybercrime actors appear to distribute Loda RAT, targeting various verticals and sectors.

Vulnerability
Industry impacted: ANY

  • In November’s patch Tuesday, Microsoft released new patches for 112 vulnerabilities in a variety of Microsoft products, including Windows, Office, Internet Explorer, Edge, Azure, and more. Microsoft classified 17 of these security updates as critical, of which 12 are Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities.
