Palo Alto Networks Joins Global Coalition: India COVID-19 Relief

During 2020, Palo Alto Networks raised over $5.4 million through a special 4-to-1 matching program to support colleagues and communities impacted by COVID-19. We were humbled by the generous spirit of our global workforce as they contributed to organizations providing relief to individuals and communities around the world. Yet, more than a year after the start of the pandemic, the call for action continues. India is facing a surge in coronavirus cases and infrastructure challenges to address the needs of its population. The need for India COVID-19 relief is high.

Just as we did at the start of the pandemic, we are proud to again join forces with a coalition, coordinated by Pledge 1%, to direct charitable investments that help address these pressing needs across India. As part of this effort, Palo Alto Networks has already made grants totaling $500,000 to select partner organizations. We’ve committed another $500,000 to double our employee match donations.

Organizations Working to Address Local Needs

Our grants to Akshaya Patra, American India Foundation, CARE, Goonj and US India Friendship Alliance will provide funding for medical equipment such as ventilators, oxygen, pulse oximeters and personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as community support and food to families and children who are experiencing food insecurity and illness.
