New Contract With US Cyber Command Helps Protect Federal Agencies

Understanding the context of a government entity’s practices is imperative for an effective security strategy and meaningful cyber defense. Now more than ever, security teams on the front lines of government cyber defense need contextual security intelligence to act quickly to make critical, confident decisions.

Since our founding, Recorded Future has been committed to stopping threats targeting local, state, and federal government institutions around the world. In fact, our unique approach to collecting and analyzing data from the broadest set of open, closed, and technical sources reflects many proven analytic techniques honed over decades by these very government and military agencies.

We’re proud to extend this commitment to protecting government organizations with our recently announced Production-Other Transaction Agreement (P-OTA) contract, facilitated by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU).

Under this contract, the Recorded Future Security Intelligence Platform will provide real-time threat analysis to approved federal agencies on an expedited basis. By providing a singular view of digital, brand, and third-party risk and comprehensive threat reporting capabilities, the platform will support USCYBERCOM’s ability to direct the operation and defense of specified Department of Defense Information Networks (DODIN).

This $50 million contract is particularly noteworthy for Recorded Future, as it marks the first P-OTA contract awarded by the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Enterprise.
