Yesterday, 2018-10-12, there was a very large sextortion spam campaign under way. The from address was also the to address. The email claims to be from a darknet username which appears to be randomized. Another note is that the email template appears to have remnants of the exposed passwords sextortion email template used in the recent past. As of this post is appears that 4 people have fell for this campaign and paid.
If you receive an email like this, report it as spam and delete it. Do not pay.
